Todays Goals:

1. Have both kids bathed

2. Have both kids dressed in a clean outfit that matches and not just something that they have come up with on their own (though the outfits they come up with do make me LOL).

3. Do laundry, so as to be able to accomplish goal number two.

4. Have both kids brush their teeth (how sad is that!)

5. Trim Maya's bangs because it is getting difficult to see her eyes and her habit of walking into walls seems to be worsening (maybe there is some correlation. Just a thought).

6. Cut Christian's hair because he is starting to resemble one of the Beetles. Yes the beetles as in "Yellow Submarine".

7. Go grocery shopping, so that the kids can stop living off the GINORMOUS thing of cheese balls that we got from Sam's. Why, oh, why did we buy that??!!

I feel pretty embarrassed of today's goals. But between being sick, trying to prepare for my Mom to come stay with us (another blog post in itself) and planning our trip in July , I have really neglected my most important job. Being Mommy to Christian and Maya. So today is all about getting their lives and routines back to normal. Maybe I'll post some before and after pics (of the hair, not the growing mountain of dirty laundry). Hope you have a great day!

Liz, I love your list. Lists are fun and somewhat easy to make, unless you're bummed out about something yet trying desperately to play the glad game. Then it's tough. I like #7 the best because when we go to Sams and I'm tempted to buy it each week as I always am (but don't...yet), and when Daniel again again again asks me if we can get them I can say "#7". Simply put. You've helped me Liz.

I'm glad you liked it Kathy! I seriously was making this mental list in my head and thought "wow, this is a pretty sad state of affairs:)" I would definitely urge you to stay away from the cheese-balls. It was David and both kids against me, so needless to say, they made their way into my pantry. I can't even stand the thing upright in the pantry... Love you Kathy, let's talk soon!

Should I admit those are pretty much my goals EVERY day?!

Liz, regarding your homeschooling blog,go for it. I think you should definitely create a homeschool blog. They have some of the cutest ones. Another one we liked was called "Birds on a wire" which was tempting since Danny is a pilot. We would have called it, "Ground School".

Here's where I found the templates. On this site they have about 120 templates to choose from, and it's very easy to upload. http://btemplates.com/2008/11/11/snail/
